Workout Buddy?

You know, I’ve gotta tell you, I monster’d out at the gym today. I was a complete beast. And, I owe this all to the fact that I work out alone. I’ve read nothing but post after article after book about how working out with a partner boosts your workout. You reap all sorts of benefits – workouts you would never think of, someone there to hold you accountable, someone there to keep you entertained? I don’t buy it. Maybe if your buddy is a monster too, but I recently…segued out of a partnership with my buddy, and I have only gotten leaner and meaner by pushing myself. I don’t have to stay back for my friend, I don’t have to do monotonous workouts, I can go all out and, there’s no one there to see me sweat 😉
