Extreeeeme…

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been absent for a couple of days, I was feeling a little under the weather. But I’m too excited not to blog today, because my package finally came!!

Since I’ve been working on ways to save, I decided to kick my gym membership. It’s a little scary, to be honest. I love all the access to machines and weights, however, it’s smarter for me right now to workout at home.

I’ve chosen Chalean Extreme as my new workout! Call me a sucker, but I LOVE Beachbody products. I have Turbo Jam and RevAbs and find that you can get a pretty intense workout at home. Plus, I kinda love Chalene Johnson 🙂

I also noticed that when I did a web search to get some info on this program, there was only one blogger review and it wasn’t super positive. I’m going to track my progress and give you weekly updates as well so you can see what’s going on and get an honest and in-depth review of the program.

The Muscle Burns Fat guidebook isn’t really anything I didn’t know. Duh. Muscle burns fat. But it includes the calendar for your workouts, a spot for your pics and measurements, a fit test and a breakdown of all the workouts done in the program.

The Fat Burning food guide is exciting for me. I like to review the eating plans of all workouts that I do that include diet plans. I absolutely did NOT approve of the RevAbs diet plan. Brett Hoebel cuts your daily calories down to 1000 and that is so not healthy. You wouldn’t even have energy to workout! I approve of Chalene’s plan, way of eating (a LOT like mine) and calorie needs of 1400 a day for someone my weight. I also take into consideration that I’m very sedentary, so I can hang with this. I think your weight loss is mainly dependent on what you put in your mouth anyway, so I’m going to follow her eating plan as well, so that you guys can get a review of the workout as Chalene set it up.

I’ve watched all the discs and am so PUMPED to start! I love lifting and lifting heavy. Her yoga looks fun and relaxing and I love her attitude. I’m going to use a set of 5, 8, and 12 lb weights to start and will let you know if I have to jack them up the get a better workout. She has you working to failure, so I’m pretty sure I’ll have to go heavier pretty soon.
